Great opportunity for commercially astute and highly motivated financial controller, who is solution focused, to join £3.5 – 4m t/o business operating within the leisure and hospitality sector that is keen to build on existing successes.
Working with an entrepreneurial management team your duties as a financial controller will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed assets
- Budgets and forecasts
- VAT returns
- Cash management
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control
- Weekly reporting
The successful financial controller must be hands on and prepared to undertake all aspects of the finance function with support from a small team.
First class Excel skills and a good level of MS Office essential.
To be able to undertake the role of financial controller you must be able to display the following qualities:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A confident and self-assured nature
- An agile mind and ability to work confidently with a strong, forward thinking team.
This role is open to qualified and part-qualified accountants with the relevant experience.
