Exciting new opportunity for experienced Logistics Controller / Administrator with expanding organisation located on the outskirts of Nottingham.
Working within their operations team and supporting their Logistics & Inventory Manager your duties will include:
- Liaising with suppliers i.e., courier firms to obtain quotes, resolve queries relating to customs issues etc.
- Monitoring urgent shipments and providing updates.
- Supporting the admin function of the logistics function and the finance and accounting of the logistics platform including processing invoices and POs.
The successful Logistics Controller must have customs knowledge (H5 codes, commercial invoices, export licences etc.), possess excellent IT skills and have experience of working within a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
Ideally suit dynamic and passionate individual with strong organisational skills and a can do approach.
