Order Fulfilment Team Leader up to £33,000

An exciting, newly created, opportunity has arisen for a highly analytical individual to join a global organisation with offices in central Nottingham.

As their Order Fulfilment Team Leader, you will be responsible for a small, newly created team, sitting within their Customer Service Centre of Excellence.

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the activities of the order fulfilment team and ensure that their order book conversion is maximised, whilst consistently achieving departmental and company KPIs.

As the Order Fulfilment Team Leader your responsibility will be to manage and drive through improvements to their order fulfilment procedures and policies, supervise, coach and mentor the team, and develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.  This will include leading and developing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and sales order book conversion, in addition to establishing SLAs and performance metrics and actively participating in projects and working parties.

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Order Book Management, ensuring that orders are shipped and invoiced within timeframes.
  • Tracking incoming orders against sales order requirements to ensure on time delivery / up to date information on potential delays / pull forwards.
  • Tracking order fulfilment against customer priorities.
  • Ensuring products arrive on time to meet key customer events.
  • Supporting the order fulfilment team.
  • Stakeholder relationship management.
  • Staff management.
  • Reporting: compiling, collating, and reviewing a wide range of reports and feedback on a regular basis and using the information as the basis for strategic review of current statuses and long-term improvements.
  • Continuous improvement.

The successful Order Fulfilment Team Leader must be an experienced manager with first class analytical skills, advanced Excel (including report creation and analysis), and SAP.

Previous experience within the retail (or very similar) sector, working for a complex global organisation would be an advantage.
