Payroll Processor – Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Exciting opportunity for experienced payroll processor to join well-established accountancy practice and take responsibility for the processing of clients’ payrolls.

As a payroll processor you will be responsible for entering data, uploading pension files, completing payroll journals, and maintaining databases and payroll records for RTI purposes.

You will be expected to provide support to team members as necessary and deal with client enquiries in relation to payroll, benefits, and expenses.

It is essential that you have proven payroll bureau experience, are proactive in the identification of potential issues, confidential at all times and capable of providing guidance and training to other staff members, particularly trainees.

The successful payroll processor will have strong communication and organisational skills, be focused, able to follow direction and work as part of a team.

A basic knowledge of Pension Automatic Enrolment, The Apprenticeship Levey and the Employment Allowance is a must.  You will ideally already have a Payroll Level 3 qualification or be working, or willing to work, towards achieving it.
