Romanian speaking Office Manager

Exciting, newly created, opportunity with well-established SME operating within the construction sector whose focus is very much on the environment and a wide range of fantastic values which includes, at the top of the list, staff engagement and retention.

Headed up by a values-led director this is an exciting time for an experienced Office Manager to be joining the business and supporting him in a role that will effectively evolve over the coming months.

At it’s core the role involves looking at processes and proactively identifying areas for improvement, implementing, and maintaining, predominantly in relation to off-site staffing who consist of employees and sub-contractors.  Hence the requirement for (ideally but not essential) a Romanian speaker to help build and maintain relationships.

Internally, you will have a small office team reporting into you who take care of accounts and payroll using Sage, work scheduling, customer service and ISO certification administration using CRM systems, MS Office and their own digital platform and app.

As you become immersed in the business and become fully aware and understand their sector you will get involved in audit; systems, processes and dealing with ISO visits etc.

HR and recruitment will also come under your wing in this truly varied / hybrid role.

The successful Office Manager MUST be a people person and be passionate about improving the business that has staffing and the environment at its heart. It is essential that you have the ability to influence, and can demonstrate this competence during an interview, and work with people at all levels within a construction-led environment.

It is worth pointing out that Rome wasn’t built in a day, and whilst they already do have a good track record with staffing, the changes that they would like to bring about also require you to be ‘patiently impatient’!
